STUDIO

Established 2014, Donald McCrory Studio, an award-winning interdisciplinary practice, working across private and public sectors, producing a diverse portfolio of cultural, residential, education, retail and civic projects. The practice applies a consistent research collaborative approach, grounded in a concern for the social and environmental sustainability of the built environment. We utilise considered material craft and experimentation to resolve client ambitions, creating timeless tactile architecture and elegant contemporary spaces.

DONALD MCCRORY

Donald lectures at The Bartlett UCL Faculty of the Built Environment and is a Design Fellow at the University of Cambridge, he currently leads studios at the London School of Architecture and UAL Central St Martins. He is an external examiner at Westminster University and a visiting critic to universities across UK, Europe & USA, including but not limited to Royal College of Art, Umeå School of Architecture and Cornell University.

Donald previously worked for The Arts Team RHWL, Viewport Studio, Allford Hall Monaghan Morris (AHMM), was an associate at Michaelis Boyd Associates and Architecture Manager at London Borough of Tower Hamlets, He is client design advisor to Greater London Authority, PLACE and NHS. In 2021 he was appointed to the Hackney Design Review Panel and ARB Accreditation Panel 2023.
